I am a Chilean otolaryngologist specializing in facial plastic surgery and head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery at some of the world’s leading centers in these disciplines. I had the opportunity to be the first Latin American to complete a specialty in craniofacial plastic surgery and also a specialty in head and neck oncologic surgery in Toronto. I have the profile of an academic surgeon, as I am heavily involved in high-level surgical, research, teaching, and university academic activities.
